Registration CV with natural and non-natural persons

The CV has partners who are natural persons and non-natural persons (for example, a bv, cv, foundation, cooperative, vof or maatschap).

Before registering

1. Contact the Employee Insurance Agency (UWV) or the municipality if you have benefits.

Do you want to start a business while you are receiving benefits (uitkering)? If so, discuss your plans with the UWV first. Or, if you are on social assistance benefit (bijstand), with your municipality.

2. More about the cv (limited partnership)

Do you have little or no capital of your own and want to start a business with an investor? Then choose the legal structure of a cv. Read more about the limited partnership.

3. The difference between natural and non-natural persons

A natural person means a human being (a person of flesh and blood). Non-natural persons are organisations, for example a bv, cv, maatschap, vof, cooperative, foundation or partnership. This page focuses on registering a CV with natural persons and legal entities. You can also:

1.    Complete the registration form

Fill in the digital registration form as completely as possible. The more complete the form is, the smoother your registration at the office will be.

Fill in your name without punctuation marks or diacritics

Do not enter characters such as a diaeresis or accent under "your name". This will cause an error that prevents us from sending an email and prevents you from continuing with the register. Your name can be changed later.

2.    Register UBOs

UBOs (ultimate beneficial owners) are the ultimate stakeholders of an organisation. You need to register them when you start a new general partnership (vof). First determine who the UBOs of your organisation are. Then complete form 32 and take it with you to your appointment.

3.    Make an appointment

Have you completed the forms? Then you can immediately make an appointment at a KVK office of your choice. You do this by logging in with DigiD (at the bottom of this page).

About the appointment

The natural partners visit the office and bring with them:

A KVK employee will check the identification documents and the completed forms. Limited, or silent partners do not need to come along.

Is your start date more than 2 months in the past?

Then you must prove that you have carried out business activities from the specified start date. For example, bring documents to your appointment showing that you have made investments or carried out assignments.
