Follow the steps below to register your maatschap.
1. Fill in the details of your maatschap
Fill in the digital registration form as completely as possible.
Note:Â Do not use any punctuation marks in the field "Uw naam" (Your name). Due to a technical problem, the email will not be sent if you do. The KVK official with whom you finalise the registration can change the name.
Is your starting date more than 2 months in the past?
You must be able to prove that you have been active as a business from the starting date you fill in. You can bring documents to your appointment that prove you have made investments or carried out assignments, for example.Â
Privacy
KVK registers the details of your partnership in the Business Register and various client systems. See our privacy statement for more information.
2. Register the UBOs of your new organisationÂ
UBOs are the ultimate beneficial owners of an organisation. You have to register them when you set up a new maatschap. First, determine who the UBOs of your organisation are. Then, complete form 32Â and bring it to your appointment.
3. Make an appointment
Have you filled in the registration forms completely? Then make an appointment at any KVK office. You need a to make the appointment.
Please note:  all partners must visit KVK in person to show their ID. During the appointment, we check the identity documents and the forms you have filled in.Â
Costs
- You pay a fee for the registration of the company with a new KVK number.
- You can immediately buy a KVK Business Register Extract to use as proof of registration. Some banks and wholesalers ask for an extract.
Exceptions
1. (Some of) the partners of the maatschap are non-natural personsÂ
If all partners in the maatschap are non-natural persons, you do not have to come to the office. Send the following forms by post:
- Form 2a: 'registration partnership'
- Form 10a: 'registration partner (maat)'
- Form 32: 'UBO registration for a limited partnership, general partnership, partnership, EEIG, or shipping company'
The forms state who may sign them and which supporting documents you may need to enclose.Â
Does the maatschap include both natural and non-natural persons? Then, the non-natural partner does not have to come by in person. The partner who is a natural person makes an appointment at a KVK office to finalise the registration and brings the following documents on behalf of the partner that is a non-natural person:Â
- Form 10a: 'registration partner (maat)'. Fill in the details of the non-natural partner.
- A copy of a valid identity document of the person who has signed form 10a as representative of the non-natural partner.
