With the KVK Dataservice Inschrijving (‘registration’), you get a comprehensive set of data of a company or organisation in XML format, which you can then integrate into your own system.

What data do you get?

Data about:

  • owner (legal entity, partnership, or owner of eenmanszaak)
  • business
  • principal place of business
  • officials
  • limited branch details

Product specifications

Below are the main data categories you will receive as part of the KVK Registration Data Service. Some data categories will not always be available, either because they may not be applicable or because the company or organisation may not be required to provide them.

  • KVK number - Always available - Number in the Business Register
  • Legal structure - Always available - The company’s or organisation’s legal form
  • Special legal status - Not always available - Indicates whether the company is bankrupt or subject to a moratorium.

Legal entity

  • Name - Always available - The legal entity’s statutory name
  • RSIN - Always available - Rechtspersonen en Samenwerkingsverbanden Identificatienummer (Legal Entities and Partnerships Identification Number).
  • Visiting and post address - Not always available - Visiting and post address of the legal entity. Available only if the legal entity has no branches.
  • Contact details - Not always available - Email addresses and URLs. Available only if the legal entity has no branches. Phone and fax numbers are not available.
  • Date of incorporation - Always available - Date on which the legal entity was formed.

Business

  • Trade names - Always available - All trade names under which the company trades.
  • Activities - Always available - All activities performed at all the company’s branches.
  • Number of employees - Always available - Number of full-time, number of part-time and total number of persons employed by the company.
  • Business start date - Always available - Date on which the business started its activities.

Principal place of business and other branches

  • Establishment number - Always available - Unique branch identification number.
  • Trade names - Always available - All trade names under which the principal place of business trades.
  • Visiting and post address - Always available - The visiting and post address of the principal place of business.
  • Contact details - Not always available - Email addresses and URLs of the principal place of business. Phone and fax numbers are not available.
  • Activities - Always available - Activities at principal place of business.
  • Number of employees - Always available - Number of full-time and part-time employees at the principal place of business.
  • Establishment date - Always available - Date on which activities started at the principal place of business.

Owner, directors, partners, authorised representatives, and other officials

  • Name - Always available - Official's name.
  • Position - Always available - Position of official.
  • Visiting address - Not always available - Official's physical address. May be protected by law or at the official’s request.
  • Authorisation - Always available - The scope of the official’s authorisation.
