Many business owners in the Netherlands are concerned with keeping their business afloat. The pandemic and energy crisis made a big impact. While the economy has improved since 2020, 13% of businesses currently still have debts and payment arrears. Gaining insight into your finances will help you identify your opportunities. Use the new tool Toekomstcheck (‘Future Check’) developed by VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland.
KVK, VNO-NCW, MKB-Nederland and the Ondernemersklankbord are partners dedicated to supporting businesses that have hit a rough patch with personal advice and customised support, including with the Future Check.
Future Check
If you would like to keep better track of your business’s liquidity, VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland offer businesses the Future Check. This tool makes it easier to look into the future and learn more about your financial position. You will then know how you are doing at the moment and what the forecast is for the next 12 months. You will also find out how your business is protected against various future scenarios.
Have your financial data at hand. Completing the Future Check will then take around 15-20 minutes. The Future Check will work the fastest on a desktop or laptop. (You may have to try different browsers).
What can I do with the Future Check?
The Future Check (in Dutch) provides business owners with the following benefits:
- An efficient way to be financially prepared for what the future might bring
- Quick insight into the liquidity of the business now and over the next 12 months, based on their own business data
- An approximation of the financial liquidity in three scenarios: realistic, optimistic, and pessimistic
- All conveniently arranged in a single personal dashboard
- Tips for relevant scenarios
- Reference for personal coaching by the Ondernemersklankbord and, subsequently, industry associations
