KVK Startersdag

Do you dream of starting your own business? Or have you recently got started but want to learn more about doing business? Come to the KVK Startersdag (Starters Day) in Rotterdam Ahoy on 16 November 2024.

During the KVK Startersdag, advisers from KVK and our partner organisations – such as the Netherlands Tax Administration and Qredits – will be available all day to answer your questions. Get inspired by the stories of other starting entrepreneurs. Ask your questions in live Q&A sessions. You can even have a professional photo taken for your LinkedIn profile.

Internationals are welcome

Everyone is welcome to visit KVK Startersdag and chat with us and our partners. It’s good to know that Dutch is the main language at the event. However, a live translation will be offered for several of the key presentations - for example, 'Start your business in 10 steps', 'Taxes and keeping business records for starters', and 'How to make a good start financially'. For this, a special translation app called Speaksee will be used. There are also many opportunities to ask questions, chat with advisers, and make new contacts. Whenever possible, people will gladly help you in English or try to find someone who can.

Startersdag presentations

Apart from the activities on the exhibition floor, there are several presentations taking place throughout the day. When you register, you can let us know which presentations you would like to join. As mentioned above, these are in Dutch. But perhaps you’ll feel confident enough to listen along.
