RSIN number

Companies and organisations that register with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce KVK receive receive a KVK number and an RSIN, a Legal Entities and Partnerships Identification Number. The only exception is sole roprietorships who do not receive an RSIN.

An RSIN, (RSIN: Rechtspersonen en Samenwerkingsverbanden Informatienummer)  is used to exchange data with other government organisations, such as the Netherlands Tax Administration.

Finding a company's RSIN number

You can find the RSIN of a business in the KVK Business Register Extract (at cost). Businesses or organisations sometimes also state their RSIN on their own website.

Note: sole proprietorships do not have an RSIN so this will not appear on their extracts.

You can also find the RSIN of your own business or organisation for free via My KVK.
