Societal and economic developments again had a major impact in 2024. The world was dominated by technological advances, geopolitical tensions, and an accelerated transition to a sustainable economy. These issues largely determined the agenda of businesses in the Netherlands. In addition, entrepreneurs had to deal with rising costs, labor market shortages, and stricter laws and regulations. With our role as a guide and advisory partner, KVK has helped entrepreneurs respond to these changes.
